Precision agriculture is integration of spatial information captured from satellite remote sensing, ground information and with local farmers and agronomists in order to develop a strategy specific to each farm using GIS technology. The result of the GIS analysis implemented in variable rate applications which may include crop density, crop nutrition, crop protection, soil amelioration, irrigation and more.

PRECISION AGRICULTURE
Precision farming or precision agriculture is a farming management concept based on observing and responding to intra-field variations. It relies on new technologies like satellite imagery and information technology. It is also aided by farmers’ ability to locate their position in a field using satellite positioning system like GPS. and application of agriculture input (fertilizer) AT THE RIGHT AMOUNT, RIGHT LOCATION AND AT THE RIGHT TIME.
